The nonprofit Operation Gratitude’s mission is to forge strong bonds between Americans and their Military and First Responder heroes through volunteer service projects, acts of gratitude, and meaningful engagements in communities nationwide. According to their website, since 2003, Operation Gratitude has mobilized millions of volunteers nationwide and impacted over 3 million Deployed Troops, Military Families, Veterans, and First Responders.” Operation and CSX Railroad have teamed to further this mission.

 

This Operation Gratitude train passed by our building in Conyers on June 8, 2021. We were able to chase it from above. If you too love trains, good intentions, little towns, and big dreams, you perhaps might find this worth your time.
